Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury cars and vans.
With its IT systems, our "Center of Competence (CoC) Production Cars" enables the production of vehicles along the entire value chain. Whether in the planning of a vehicle or in the direct processes in the powertrain, press shop, body shop, paint shop and assembly through to delivery - our IT systems are in use around the clock at all powertrain and vehicle production sites worldwide.
In the "Manufacturing Execution & Operations" team, we are responsible for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) scopes for controlling the production and assembly processes in the body shop, the trade-specific body sorters, in the powertrain (engines, transmissions, axles, electric drive train, batteries) as well as partial scopes in vehicle assembly. We are now looking for student support in the area of body shell control. In your role, you will support the team in the development and operation of cloud-native applications in the Scrum framework and DevOps structure. Your activities will give you exciting insights into the global production network of Mercedes-Benz and the processes of large IT products and projects.
You will have these tasks:
Collaboration in a dynamic and international SCRUM team Support in the maintenance of agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence) Supporting the product owner in reporting to management Organizing appointments, e.g. preparing presentations, inviting product and project members, moderating and recording content Coordination and support of tasks in the various project phases (planning, conception, implementation, test and rollout phase) Maintaining and developing internal project communication Recording and analyzing new technical software requirementsThe activity as a working student consists of on-site appointments and a part that can be completed in the home office.
Qualifikationen Degree in business informatics, economics, engineering, natural sciences or a comparable course of study Very good written and spoken German and English skills High level of personal responsibility and commitment Strong communication skills Analytical thinking and the ability to recognize complex relationships and derive specific solutions from them Experience in agile project management (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) is an advantage Confident handling of MS Office, experience in JIRA & Confluence an advantageAdditional information:
