Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM

You will operate in the field of electric drivetrain and powerelectronics functions within the domain Vehicle Motion & Energy and be part of a highly motivated and interdisciplinary developer team, which is responsible for innovative functions of the electric drivetrain. Our deliverables contains the machine control, application software within the powerelectronics, cross-connected software for vehicle functionalities as well es the core functions to drive the ecu across the Volkswagen Group product portfolio. Thereby, we enable future innovations, best-in-class driving adventure and deliver a significant contribution to the overall driver experience.
In your occupation, you will work in agile teams and contribute to the development embedded software for powerelectronics. You work in a close collaboration with powerelectronics software experts within CARIAD “Vehicle Motion & Energy".

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Full responsibility for a specific software component or an overall software function from specification to approval
  • Model-based or code-based function development for the related drivetrain and powerelectronics functions
  • Develop communication stacks (typically CAN FD/FlexRay/LIN) and diagnosis functions (UDS) for vehicle interfaces
  • Configuration, generation and integration of third party AUTOSAR modules: Autosar Standard basic sw (e.g. MCAL, OS, RTE, ECUM, BSWM, WDG), custom sw modules, e.g. sensor drivers, actuator-drivers
  • Flash Boot Loader: Autosar flashbootloader, custom flashbootloader sw module development | Security Stack: Autosar Cryptostack, Aurix HSM, custom sw module development
WHO YOU ARE
  • Successfully completed study in the field of computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, electrical machine control or a comparable course of studies
  • Professional experience in the use of the aspects of the ISO 26262 and other standards s. a. Aspice, Autosar and their application in embedded software engineering
  • Experience and advanced knowledge in the development of embedded vehicle software and automotive ECUs in the context of functional safety, µC Infineon Aurix
  • Good knowledge about model-based function development with MATLAB / Simulink and dSPACE TargetLink and experience with common calibration tools such as Vector CANape or ETAS INCA
  • Experience in working as part of agile teams on a solution based level; Scrum, SAFe, PI Planning, Continuous Integration/ Deployment are not just buzzwords for you
