Mandatory Internship or Working Student position - New Product Development

Ohly is one of the world’s leading suppliers of yeast-based specialty ingredients for the global food, fermentation, feed and health market. We are looking for a committed and highly motivated student (m/f/d) for a mandatory internship or working student position to support our Innovation team for a period of 3-6 months, starting immediately.

The Role & Your Tasks: 

As part of the New Product Development Team in the Innovation department, you will work on evaluating the sensory and physico-chemical properties of our products. 

Your tasks will include:

Conducting physico-chemical analyses Conducting microbiology analyses (plate preparation, cell plating, count, etc.)  Conducting sensory evaluations, including taste, texture and smell Performing rheology evaluations using a rheometer Testing the product in food applications Regular reporting of data, conclusions, and recommendations through meetings, presentations, and written reports

Your Profile:

You are currently enrolled in a Master’s or Bachelor’s program in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields Experience working in a laboratory setting Basic knowledge of sensory evaluation techniques preferred Good experimental and analytical skills Good communication and reporting skills Team player, able to work independently Good command of English, both spoken and written
