Studio Control Room Operator

- In your role, you'll be responsible for the highly automated studio operations at Sky Sport News
- Supervising and controlling the broadcast and control room automation using automation technology as well as controlling the audio mixing console is part of your tasks
- You'll take care of the operation and monitoring of several cameras (remote-controlled camera robotics) and coordinate different signal sources (studio image and sound, contributions, live switching, etc.)
- You'll communicate with reporters and external switching guests, support them remotely in setting up the picture and give them the countdown for the live switchover
- You'll support live broadcasts of various sports for Sky Sport from the sports production and broadcasting center "Sky Sport HQ"
- You'll set up the studio technology and prepare the set for live operation (including lighting, sound, microphones)
- If required, you'll take over recording manager activities
- You'll be involved in project management and implementation of in-house events, taking into account editorial and technical standards
- You've completed vocational training or a degree in the relevant field and have 2-4 years of professional experience
- You've already gained experience as a directorial vision mixer and have taken responsibility for live feeds (image and sound)
- Ideally, you'll bring experience with broadcast automation systems & have a high affinity for sports
- You're familiar with studio technology and camera systems and also have some know-how in working with EB light and sound
- Shift work, including weekends and public holidays, as well as flexible working hours are no problem for you
- Excellent German and good English skills round off your profile
