To strengthen our development team in Darmstadt, we are looking for you as a

Software Tester(m/w/d) 

with test plan focus

As a Software Tester with test plan focus you will support us in the development of our software and contribute with your tests significantly to our high-quality standards. You will use your creativity with software and computer expertise to write high effective test plans and to test our software in a variety of ways - even beyond the intended workflows - to identify and help eliminate any remaining bugs before release.

The main tasks include:

Manual software test case and test cycle writing on digital platform Jira. Creative ways of test case creation with respect to applicable guidelines.Checking requirements and features for their testability to derive test cases.Review and analyse dental technical specifications to create test cases.Generating test cycles from customer applications.Maintenance and extension of existing test plans. Creating test coverage between software requirement specifications and test cases to prove traceability.In coordination with software developers, design test cases and scenarios from the user's perspective to test the software for compliance.Define test cases in Jira based on technical specifications and execute software tests to ensuring software quality. Manual testing of special new project features on the pulse of timeContribute to the development team and ensure early feedback on developed features through consistent manual testing.Execution of regression tests and verification. Creation of digital test result reports Performing software testing and documenting test results in Jira.Exporting test reports automatically after successful test execution.

As Software Tester you work in a close exchange with documentation of technical writers and participate actively in the further development and optimization of the test processes, so an open mind and positive team spirit are welcome. At least one of the following is required:Education as . dental technician with practical experience in working with 3D CAD/CAM software from exocad or other manufacturers or related qualified degrees/professional experience. Software tester with ISQTB certificate with practical experience in software testing ideally with 3D software or gaming experienceBachelor's degree or higher . in (business) computer science, information technology, mathematics or related qualified degree with experience in 3D software or gaming At least 3 years of experience in setting up and performing software testing or experience working with dental CAD/CAM software. Passion for 3D software and enthusiasm for the dental industry Teamwork and communication skills during work as well as for exocad typical events Independence and good self-organization Precise and careful work Willingness to learn with drive for self-development. Good language skills in German and English (written and spoken), further languages welcome.
