General Summary:

We have 6-month internship openings as part of Qualcomm’s European Intern Program starting between January and March 2023.

To qualify for one of the openings you must be a student (electrical engineering or computer science with major in communication) in the middle or towards the end of your studies looking for an Intern placement as a mandatory or voluntary part of your degree for 6 months.

This internship position includes test execution in stationary and mobility (drive test) conditions in our Frankfurt labs and across European 4G and 5G mobile networks.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Theoretical knowledge in a few of the mentioned topics: LTE, 5G (NSA/SA), OSI model, handovers, TCP / IP protocol, fading, source and channel coding.

- Exposure to programming in python or shell scripts.

- High level understanding from Android OS

- Willingness to travel

- Can do attitude

- Able to take ownership for assigned task

- Good English written and oral expression

Education:

Studying for Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree with major in communication.

Must have the legal right to work in Germany for 6 consecutive months or an internship be a mandatory part of the course completion.
