Hyatt Services GmbH is the reservation center for the EAME region (Europe, Africa, and the Middle East), where a team of around 100 colleagues offers customer service in 10 languages.

The Role

As a Reservation Associate, you will be the first point of contact for German and English-speaking customers in the EAME region (Europe, Africa and Middle East). You will handle reservations via our in-house booking system over the phone or email, assisting customers with any inquiries they might have. If you ever encounter a customer inquiry to which you don´t know the answer, don't worry — the support team is there to help at all times Here's an overview of the responsibilities:

Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email (no in-person customer contact) Competently processing reservations while considering individual customer preferences Upselling based on your up-to-date knowledge of our hotels' services and offerings (regular training sessions provided) Ensuring an excellent customer service and resolving customer issues Close coordination with hotels and forwarding personal preferences of the customers to insure a perfect stay Working closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Required Skills

Proficient language skills in German (minimum C1 level) Fluent in English (minimum B2 level) Experience in customer service or as a reservation associate, preferably in the hotel or tourism industry Completed training in hotel management, tourism, or similar fields (an advantage but not a mandatory requirement) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in computer and software usage Ability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously Strong service orientation and excellent communication skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (compensation will be provided) Valid work permit in Germany
