Quality Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Quality Engineer to join our growing team. As the second member of our Quality Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our data extraction processes. You will work closely with our existing Quality Engineer, collaboratively monitoring system performance, identifying systematic shortcomings, and implementing improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor the performance of our data extraction system.
- Identify and understand systematic shortcomings in the extraction process.
- Generate Python code to address and rectify identified issues.
- Create synthetic data and annotate existing data to improve system performance.
- Collaborate closely with the existing Quality Engineer to cross-check work and ensure high standards are maintained.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 1 year of work experience.
- Alternatively, completed apprenticeship with relevant experience.
- Strong background in Python and a willingness to deepen Python expertise.
- English proficiency is required; knowledge of German, French, Italian, or Spanish is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A keen eye for quality and a commitment to high standards.
- Familiarity with technical drawings and their applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
