Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world.
As part of this company, our department designs the drive system software and electrical/electronic (E/E) systems for the Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Benz Van brands. This includes the functional, E/E and software architecture, networking, CarIT security and baselayer implementation as part of MB.OS.

For our team eDrive E/E-Architecture & IT-Security we are looking for reinforcement in the field of security.

Your tasks will be:

Ensuring the security of powertrain ECUs over the entire life cycle Responsibility for the creation of work products as part of our security processes Identifying and evaluating threats and risks Defining and developing security concepts for the powertrain Commissioning and managing penetration tests Coordinating security issues with suppliers, system and component managers, project managers and central security departments Supporting projects with the implementation of security mechanisms Supporting the drive control units with regard to technical specification, implementation, calibration and testing of suitable measures Contact person for the projects when dealing with the security mechanisms, e.g. during commissioning or troubleshooting Coordinating the timing and content of the implementation of security topics together with the component managers and suppliers Issuing a technical release recommendation for security-specific software components in the control unit based on verification/test results

Qualifikationen

Ideally you have the following:

Completed university degree in electrical/information technology, automotive engineering, information technology or a comparable course of study Sound knowledge in the following areas:- (Car) IT security Communication networks and technologies in the vehicle Knowledge of embedded systems and software architecture (e.g. AUTOSAR) Enjoy creative design and contributing your own ideas in early phases of development with many unknowns High level of teamwork, independence and assertiveness Strong analytical, strategic and innovative thinking skills Very good knowledge of German and English
