nomiko is a non-profit association that promotes, controls and monitors training and further education in practical project work for and with students and interns from all disciplines. Would you like to gain practical experience in the following areas?
  • Analyze machine and production data, develop and implement approaches how to process this data to bring benefit to our colleagues in the production sites
  • Support in conceptualization and development of digital solutions related to our internal value chain
  • Research and analysis regarding digital trends, best practices, and data use cases in production and logistics
  • Preparation and Implementation of Proof of Concepts related to specific use cases (hardware and software)
  • Testing of different data connectors, methods, and tools regarding their applicability and usefulness for our use cases
  • Assistance in data processing and explorative analysis
  • Work on different work packages related to Data Science or IIOT and document the results
  • Implement cutting cutting-edge digital solutions and level up our production workflows, while gaining handshands-on experience and learning from industry experts

Do you have the following requirements?
  • First practical experiences in data analysis and transformation in a programming language for Data Science, e. g. by applying Python in a study thesis or project work
  • Knowledge of relevant tools and libraries is an advantage (e.g. Pandas, Numpy, scikit scikit-learn)
  • First experiences with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure are a Plus
  • Good knowledge in MS Office Suite tools
  • Analytical thinking and strong interest in production digitalization
  • You enjoy solving challenging problem statements and you can successfully work on your own
  • You are also a good Teamplayer
  • Good English and German language skills

Studies: Industrial engineering, IT, Data Science or similar (advanced Bachelor or beginning Master)
