Become part of the smatch team to address this major ecological issue of excess stock mismanagement and change the course of the retail industry with us By joining our B2B Retail Marketplace team as a Product Manager with expertise in data analysis you will create a real and lasting impact for the environment while working hand-in-hand with the founders to unlock the $3tr retail excess stock market and experience a scaling venture from day 1

About the role

This role is a unique blend of product management and data analysis. We are looking for a proactive Product Manager to drive the development of our product ecosystem, utilizing deep data analysis to inform decisions and enhance user experience. This role will significantly impact our ability to deliver innovative solutions that enhance user experience and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights, analyze data, and implement strategic initiatives that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extend smatch’s ecosystem by gathering requirements and producing specifications
  • Collaborate with external designers to enhance UX and UI for our platforms
  • Analyze product data to inform decisions and prioritize feature development
  • Provide data analysis for management/investor reporting and operational monitoring
  • Manage ongoing projects and feature requests as needed.
  • Work closely with the operational team to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation
  • Develop a prioritized roadmap for product features based on data analysis and user feedback
About you

This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, is driven by data, and possesses a strong foundation in product management and UX design.

  • Experience in product management, product ownership, project management, or related fields
  • A relevant degree in business, computer science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in UX/UI design and implementation
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach
  • Comfortable with SQL
  • Excellent communication, self-organization abilities and team spirit
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and handle requests from various stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English, German is a plus
  • Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg
