Client details

An international Investment Firm with extensive operational expertise and experience, is looking for a Group CFO (m/w/d) for one its Porfolio companies, in the greater Düsseldorf area.

The company has approx. € 90m sales and 400 employees and its field is manufacturing.


Description
  • Overall commercial responsibility for the companies and the group
  • Responsibility for all commercial areas incl. purchasing, controlling, financial accounting, HR, IT and administration
  • Financial management in particular with regard to P&L, balance sheet, liquidity and working capital
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to local law and IFRS
  • Contact banks, auditors, tax advisors and the shareholder in all financial matters
  • Preparation of budget and forecast calculations, tax reports as well as short and long-term cash flow calculations incl. active cash management
  • Preparation of variance analyses and identification of needs for action with subsequent initiation and tracking of appropriate measures
  • Active support on the investment and exit strategy

Profiles
  • University degree in economics with strong commercial knowledge
  • Approx. 8-15 years professional experience in management consulting/auditing or in the finance department of a well-known manufacturing company, preferably in a medium-sized environment
  • Several years of demonstrable professional and management experience in a comparable position, preferably in an industrial environment
  • Profound knowledge in controlling, accounting and HR
  • Experienced in change processes such as restructuring, transformation, growth or start-up phases
  • Ability and willingness to build and develop a committed team in the area of finance
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Personal maturity to communicate and negotiate professionally with auditors and external partners and shareholders
  • Experience in the private equity investment environment
