Your tasks
Collaborate with the various IPTs (Integrated Project Teams) to ensure that the risks associated with their perimeter are properly identified and controlled in line with the aircraft program objectives. Drive program risks throughout the risk management process: from risk identification to risk closure following verification of acceptable risk level, make sure risk mitigation actions resulting from the risk response plan, monitor the potential impact of risks on the program baseline, etc. Ensure that all validated risk response plans are properly prioritized and owned by the affected areas (engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, etc.). Report on risk management progress for the entire aircraft program and managing deviations from plan by escalation when necessary. Drive the planning and preparation of Program and Technical risks reviews in line with Program Governance, ensuring all risks and opportunities are properly documented and updated and stakeholders aligned prior to the Risk Reviews. Represent the aircraft program at program risk reviews and ensure that all program considerations are well managed.
Your profile
University degree in a technical field (e.g. Engineering) or completed apprenticeship and experience in a technical aerospace or automotive environment in lieu. Proven Project Management skills with a minimum of 5-7 years Project Management experience with a strong focus on Risk Management, ideally within a complex aerospace environment. Strong preference to candidates who have participated in at least one aircraft development program, ideally E-VTOL, and are familiar with all phases of the project lifecycle including development, certification and operational phases. Demonstrable experience in managing cross-functional teams and working closely with a broad range of stakeholders at different levels of the organization. Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence and integrated scheduling software is highly appreciated. Ability to probe and challenge assumptions. Preferably hold a PM qualification equivalent to IPMA Level C or higher. Chartered Engineer status favorable. Enthusiastic and eager to learn and adopt his/her style to a start-up environment; puts the team first; robust and passionate in following given objectives; uses failure as a learning experience. Excellent communicator in English, fluency in German would be beneficial.
