Our Red Bull Soccer entity is a dynamic, passionate, and entrepreneurial team within the Red Bull Group which feeds, drives, and supports our soccer clubs around the Globe with high expertise and creativity not only to be the best but also to be pioneers and exemplary in everything we do.

The Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the marketing value of our soccer clubs through the World of Red Bull. This position entails close collaboration with the Global Head of Marketing & Business Development Soccer to establish and expand upon our soccer network's potential, leveraging key players to drive marketing activities and consumer activations. Moreover, the Marketing Manager serves as the primary liaison between stakeholders, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration within the World of Red Bull.

Job Description

Strategic expansion of club activations

Lead the identification and pursuit of opportunities for expanding marketing activities and driving brand- and consumer activations by ensuring necessary access to clubs for Red Bull entities to execute club activations effectively.

Utilize the World of Red Bull

Push the key player approach as a marketing and comms tool to establish players as strategic assets within the World of Red Bull (WoRB). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate players seamlessly into various initiatives within the initiatives, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.

Key player approach

Spearhead the development and execution of strategies to further enhance the key player approach across all Red Bull soccer clubs. Within that, acting as the central point of contact for player-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with the objectives of the clubs, players, and business goals.

Optimizing brand impact

Facilitate transparency and effective information flow between Red Bull entities and other relevant stakeholders to optimize the brand impact of our soccer clubs. Drive alignment of club activities with broader brand objectives, enhancing overall brand perception and engagement.

Innovative Content Creation Strategy

Drive the growth of reach and relevance by creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience. Thereby, design and deliver compelling stories, unique content formats, and top media content ideas for clubs and the Red Bull Media Network. Focus on amplifying key moments by communicating and planning early to maximize the reach and engagement across social media channels and other platforms.

Drive Continuous Improvement

Regularly compile best practices and insights into an annual report to drive continuous improvement. Proactively identify opportunities for enhancement and refinement, ensuring ongoing optimization of strategies and tactics.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or related roles, with a strong track record of success in driving impactful activations and brand engagement..

Extensive expertise in sports marketing, particularly within the soccer industry, with a deep understanding of club dynamics and player management.Proven track record of successfully executing marketing initiatives and driving brand awareness.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a global, cross-functional environment, with experience working across multiple regions and cultures.Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Willingness to travel as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Fluency in German and English (oral & written)
