Responsibilities / Tasks
De gecombineerde rol van financial en project Controller zal o.a. instaan voor de maand- en jaarafsluiting (in BE GAAP) en de uitgebreide groepsrapportering (in IFRS). Naast de wederkerende rapporteringstaken en, zal je als de nieuwe Controller de drijvende kracht worden van het budgetcyclus als ook de verschillende forecast cycli die verspreid over het jaar voorkomen. Daarnaast zal je voor diverse interne stakeholders eveneens de rol van Finance Business Partner opnemen en de rechterhand zijn van de Director Finance.
De Financial Controller is verantwoordelijk voor alle aspecten van rapportering, analytische en algemene boekhouding en voor het leveren van financiële input ter ondersteuning van sleutelbeslissingen binnen het bedrijf en binnen de verschillende lopende projecten.
Jouw taken:
Organiseren en ontwerpen van interne controles en een efficiënt boekhoudkundig beleid.
Ontwikkelen van aanvullende processen die de correcte naleving van het beleid en de procedures waarborgen.
Zorgen voor naleving van statutaire financiële verplichtingen. FP&A - Financiële planning en analyse.
Zorgen voor het tijdig indienen van de financiële prognoses en dit volgens de vereisten en standaarden van het bedrijf, inclusief relevante ondersteunende informatie over opportuniteiten en risico's.
De drijvende kracht worden van het jaarlijkse budgetteringsproces.
Analyseren van financiële resultaten, signaleren en communiceren van afwijkingen met aanbevelingen over mogelijke oplossingen en verbeteringen.
Ook voorzie je het management, en andere stakeholders binnen de groep, tijdig van bedrijfsinformatie die noodzakelijk is om de juiste beslissingen te kunnen nemen : Business Partnering bijv. voor project management.
Financiële ondersteuning bieden aan Operations. Dit omvat de dagelijkse operationele financiën, maar ook strategische financiële ondersteuning, met inbegrip van business assessments en het verstrekken van advies over commerciële beslissingen.
Actief deelnemen aan vergaderingen die als doel hebben om groei en succes in de business te stimuleren, ter ondersteuning van de doelstellingen en visie van het bedrijf.
Ontwikkelen van sterke relaties binnen het bedrijf op basis van een open en collaboratieve communicatiestijl.
• Een cultuur van Continuous Improvement voeden, met focus op constante procesherziening en -verbetering.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Je bent in het bezit van een Bachelor of Master diploma in Accountancy of Finance.
Je hebt een 5 tal jaar concrete ervaring in Financial Accounting, Controlling of Audit.
Je hebt een goede kennis van BE GAAP.
Ervaring in een industriële omgeving en vertrouwdheid met concepten zoals inventaris, percentage of completion, enz. zijn een pluspunt.
Kennis van IFRS-regels is eveneens een troef, maar geen must.
Je voelt je comfortabel in een KMO omgeving.
Je bent energiek en gemotiveerd en weet hoe je verandering moet stimuleren.
