Special Process Spezialist Torque Tightening

Alstom in Germany is one of the major suppliers of German rail infrastructure. The company focuses on manufacturing rail vehicles for local rail transport: trams and suburban railways, commuter trains and regional trains. We are looking for a Special Process Expert/Specialist Torque Tightening (m/f/d) to join the PME department at our site Salzgitter.

The Position:

• Control of the Torque Tightening activities in the production according to IND-PRO-002
• Control of the torque tightening activities in the production
• Performing of external audits at suppliers also in foreign countries regarding torque tightening
• Checking and releasing of design documents regarding riveting and torque tightening
• Participation in concurrent engineering regarding riveting and torque tightening
• Support of other departments regarding riveting and torque tightening issues

Your Profile:

• Qualification as mechanical engineer (Bachelor, Master or Dipl.-Ing.)
• Intensive knowledge of different torque tightening and riveting processes
• Good knowledge of torque tightening processes
• Intensive knowledge of German and English language orally and writing
• Intensive knowledge of MS Office applications
• Readiness for travelling (also in foreign countries)
• Readiness for further trainings and for improving of English language skills
