PURPOSE

This role is responsible for maximizing the profitability of Global Sales by leading the development and implementation of programs, policies and processes for Retail organizations in all relevant markets.

Retail Operations proactively shapes our Global Retail business, while ensuring a consumer-first mindset across our global retail markets. This team enables our retail store operating model, operational efficiency, omnichannel and digital transformation and trading mindset. This team will effectively implement global programs, processes and policies through relevant retail stores, by influence and partnership with global and market retail teams.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Embed and live a consumer-first mindset, to drive Retail Operations across all markets Create and drive a high-performance culture by: Taking ownership for talent management process to hire, develop and retain talents Setting clear expectations and individual goals Evaluating competencies of team members on a regular basis; providing prompt feedback and guidance to drive high performance Translating company goals in team-specific actions and business plans, monitoring performance and results Contribute to development of strategic operational excellence plans through to implementation Supports and drives digitalization, operational efficiency and implementation of retail programs, processes and policies Contribute to a culture of sharing and adoption of best practice through strategic communication to and from markets/countries/clusters/districts/stores Act as a business partner, constructive challenger and gatekeeper of our operational retail and franchise business, across global and market cross-functional teams Implement a culture of continuous improvement Review key market strategies and reporting indicators with senior global leadership and local operations teams to develop solutions and trade the business Performance improvement planning for markets to ensure KPIs are met Manage and control function operational expenses

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Advanced user of MS Office suite of products Project/program management utilizing agile methodologies Ability to influence and lead others within a complex matrix organization Fluent in English Additional languages are an advantage

QUALIFICATIONS

University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience 3+ years people management experience 6+ years Retail store operations experience (retail – especially store, district and regional leadership of retail and franchise stores highly valued) 3+ years project management experience and/or leadership Exposure to NAM, Europe and/or APAC markets
