Job/Position Summary
KPIT is already working on 6 SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) OEM programs helping OEMs define new-age central compute and zonal E/E architectures. We develop engineers with both domain expertise in Connected, Autonomous, Shared and Electric Mobility as well as base software expertise in software standardization areas such as android, Adaptive AUTOSAR, Linux, QNX, and more.
Exposure to multiple global OEMs and Tier1s, in-house product development, and university associations for upskilling help engineers fast-track their career in automotive software.
Job Summary:
As a Subject Matter Expert you will be responsible in formulating and creating solutions for complex software platforms and products of future Software Defined Vehicles. You will be driving exciting development projects and lead teams. You will also participate in customer meetings to proactively pitch technical solutions from KPIT and support customer pursuits.Roles and Responsibility:
Create Software Architecture and review Project Level Technical workflows Stage customer pursuits, creating solutions and business development support Review design and performance optimization Do Project Level Technical Impact Analysis of Changes Review Technical approach, estimation, technical risks and solution of proposals Convert customer requirements to software requirements Assess and Improve Team Training and Competency Review estimates of tasks and functions in projectsMandatory skills:
Hands-on software architecture experience to build automotive software platform or products Hands on experience C++ / C++ 11/14/17 Object oriented design and modeling with hands-on experience with architecture and design patterns Familiarity with embedded systems design, low-level hardware interactions Strong experience of middleware or application development on operating systems such as Linux, QNX Advanced English and German are a prerequisite (C1)Preferred skills:
Experience in automotive domains such as ADAS, Infotainment, Adaptive AUTOSAR Understanding of Adaptive AUTOSAR specifications Knowledge of distributed software development using technologies such as ROS and DDS Knowledge of methodology such ASPICE, MISRA guidelines and functional safety standards such as ISO26262 Experience with DevOps and CI/CD environment for embedded systems Experience in configuration management, change management methodologies Experience with test automation techniquesRequirement
