About the team
We are looking for a new colleague in our department IP - Active Safety Systems at one of our locations in Düsseldorf or Koblenz.

The ZF corporate intellectual property team takes responsibility for developing and implementing the IP strategy of the whole ZF Group. We help our stakeholders to navigate through the IP landscape and defend the company in IP litigation. As a team supporting the Division Chassis Solutions, we love to deep dive into new technologies, see ourselves as creators and patrons of ZF's intellectual property assets and are passionate about providing a holistic view when leveraging ZF’s intellectual property for the benefit of the business.

What you can look forward to as Patent Attorney (m/f/d)

Advise chassis solutions business on all IP related questions Work with chassis solutions business to define and implement IP strategy Review inventions, draft, prosecute and enforce intellectual property rights globally Manage outside counsel and collaborate with inhouse counsel in other countries Support business with legal advice and opinions on FTO matters, R&D and licensing agreements

Your profile as Patent Attorney (m/f/d)

Degree in Engineering, computer-science, physics or other STEM subject German Patentassessor and/or (part-)qualified European Patent Attorney and/or comparable certification in intellectual property, e.g. US patent agent Several years of professional experience in a law firm or corporate IP department Excellent skills in written and spoken German and English
