Summary
We are looking for a "Systems Engineer for Built In Test (BIT) for 4D Radars (f/m/d)" for the "4D Radar Engineering" department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.In the "4D Radar Engineering" department, the products TRS-4D and TRML-4D are defined in terms of system technology, developed and tested together with the specialist departments and integrated and accepted by the customer. In addition, we support the program in the management of projects, in the preparation of quotations and in customer meetings.
Your Tasks
Definition of technical system requirements for Naval and Ground Radars of the TRS-4D and TRML-4D product family based on customer requirements or contractual requirements
Requirements engineering and management using DOORS
Creation of fault trees taking into account the position of an LRU in the hierarchy of the system and generation of lists for subsequent fault suppression to determine the causal LRU responsible for a fault pattern
Consideration of symptoms and indications that indirectly point to a faulty component
Compilation of a central error catalog, which is used to generate time filters, links, error suppression lists and instructions for the operator or maintainer.
These error messages are used to inform the operator about the current health status and the currently available performance of the system
Support the maintainer in troubleshooting the system
Recording of all LRUs of the sensor system and systematic assignment of unique IDs
Close cooperation with the specialist departments through regular BIT rounds
Willingness for occasional business trips is required.
Your Profile
Completed studies in the field of engineering, electrical engineering or comparable
Several years of professional experience in this field
Experience in dealing with modern development practices
Experience in the development of radar systems advantageous
Experience in the technical management of teams advantageous
Experience in hardware and software in various operational / stress situations advantageous
Knowledge of DOORS, MATLAB, MBSE
Knowledge of systems engineering procedures and methods
Ability to work in a team, assertiveness and a confident manner
Business fluent German and very good English skills
