Periwinkles Food Shoppe is looking to hire a line cook We are looking for an individual with experience cooking hot food in a fast paced environment. We cook, and make everything by hand, from scratch.

Periwinkle’s is hiring a full-time BAKER . Candidate will have the following basic responsibilities, with increased responsibilities as experience and skill provides:

Baking a variety of quickbreads, pastries, cookies and daily desserts. Managing and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Highly organized with high attention to detail. Ability to scale wet and dry ingredients according to recipe specifications. Measure accurately to ensure consistent results. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work early morning, Saturday, and Pre Holiday extra shifts 1 year previous experience in a professional bakery or culinary environment, with a focus on baking, preferred. Saturday availability is required. This is a full-time, hourly position.
