for up to 10 hours a week.Our research focuses on the role of short and long distance signals in epigenetic regulation and cell programming as well as the crosstalk between cell metabolism, mechanical forces and epigenetics in heart development, function and dysfunction.

Your tasks:

Assist in day-to-day operations (lab organization, deliveries, preparation and aliquoting of reagents) Assist in research projects with cloning, DNA and RNA isolation, genotyping, cell culture, histology, microscopy etc.

Your skills:

Current studies at a university or college Basic science laboratory skills including molecular biology (DNA- and RNA-isolation, PCR, cloning, etc.) Biochemical analyses, cell isolation and culture, histology, microscopy and image analysis Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
