We as Global Digital Services enable BASF’s digitalization. We provide IT that works and offer know-how and access to latest technologies in the areas of cloud computing, blockchain or big data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Digital Services (GDS) is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our mission is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture. Our “Plant Maintenance Solutions” team is providing innovative solutions to the BASF Plants globally.
You lead the overall architecture, design, development, testing and deployment of solutions, which we continuously develop over the upcoming years.Demonstrating your proficiency in the SAP Module ‘‘Plant Maintenance” you develop, test and support mobile solutions as well as their connection to the SAP backend.
You are responsible for the technical design of application enhancements and develop those applications by using state-of-the-art programming methods and ensuring compliance with all relevant BASF guidelines for development. Furthermore, you ensure runnable, supportable and stable solutions from a technical point of view and test and error correction activities. You contribute to planning and provide cost estimations for complex projects as well as support Solution Design Documents creation.
QUALIFICATIONS
degree in computer Science, informatics, business informatics or in a comparable field at least 5 years of working experience, with at least 3 years’ experience in Cloud- and/or Mobile-based development area knowledge of creating cloud applications in the SAP Business Technology Platform as well as planning and developing REST and/or ODATA-based microservices comprehensive development skills in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, Business Application Studio, SAP Mobile Development Kit, Cloud Foundry, HANA DB, SAP UI5 or Fiori Elements excellent communication written and spoken English
