Dismantling
Professional and non-destructive dismantling of vehicles with used parts, in compliance with the specifications of the valid work information and the dismantling order Checking and correcting the quality class of all dismantled used parts Sealing of all vehicle parts containing liquids Removal of residual fluids and adhering operating fluids, as well as extraction of add-blue additives Recognize, document and destroy DSRT, prototype and non-series parts and dispose of them according to specifications Dismantle, collect and provide recyclable materials according to the specifications of the dismantling order Professional dismantling of alternative drives (e.g. electric, gas, hybrid), as well as all HV and lithium-ion batteries (FfHV only) on "unlocked" HV vehicles, in compliance with all specifications of the electrician Removal of coarse soiling from the used parts to be stored Removal, detonation and professional handling of pyrotechnic vehicle equipment Label used parts intended for storage with the quality-specific GTC labels according to specifications Label radio and navigation devices with the code labels provided according to specificationsProcess documentation
Written documentation of all deviations from the disassembly order Processing the DSRT list with the assistance of parts technologyGeneral tasks
General, reasonable special tasks (e.g. minor maintenance and repair work, issuing PPE, etc.) Processing workshop orders Supporting the removal of operating resources Support for engine disassembly Qualifikationen Completed vocational training as an automotive mechanic or automotive mechatronics technician 1-2 years of professional experience in the dismantling of vehicles Comprehensive knowledge of Mercedes-Benz vehicles and parts from Mercedes-Benz and Smart Instructed in the handling and processing of HV vehicles Crane license, airbag license and forklift license Manual dexterity Physical resilience Ability to work in a team, flexibility and motivation Sense of responsibility, independence, reliabilityAdditional information
We, the Mercedes-Benz Used Parts Center, are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. We deal with the dismantling of Mercedes-Benz end-of-life vehicles, test vehicles and vehicles involved in accidents. We also specialize in the sale of dismantled and reusable parts.
