We, the Data Engineering BI MB Bank department, work closely with our partner teams and IT to provide our internal customers with comprehensive processes, data analyses and reports for banking supervision and internal bank management, among other things. We rely on a modern Business Intelligence (BI) landscape consisting of SAP BW, SAP BA, SAP BO and Power BI.
After intensive training, you can expect the following activities with us:
Inventory of available reports in SAP BO and housekeeping activities in cooperation with the system managers and our customers Implementation of internal controls (ICS) with regard to data provision, which form the basis for regulatory reports Subsequent analysis of deviations found, recording of necessary adjustments and communication of the facts and the necessary adjustments to the IT department Implementation, evaluation and documentation of technical tests in MB-Bank's systems with the aim of ensuring system stability following any software changes Creating new documentation and checking that existing documentation is up to dateWhat will you learn during your internship with us?
At the end of your internship, you will have gained initial knowledge of the SAP-BW and SAP-BO systems and experience in the area of reporting.
You will have learned to recognize problems, understand correlations and effects and develop solutions. The terms "ICS" and "software test" are no longer foreign to you and you have a rough overview of the activities in the BI area of a bank. You will also have learned new things about dealing with customers and colleagues and what is important when working in a team.
Qualifikationen Degree in information technology, business informatics, data science, application management, software engineering, economics, mathematics or a comparable course of study. Native to business fluent in written and spoken German and English. Quick comprehension, personal responsibility, commitment and dedication Strong analytical thinking skills, affinity for numbers/data and a structured way of working Team and communication skills, flexibility but also ability to work independently Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with technical systems/applications (e.g. SAP) and enjoy working with IT applications Advanced knowledge of MS OfficeAdditional information:
