Technology Solutions Architect

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing an IT technology map as well as creating and reviewing solution architectures for IT projects. You will set up a cloud-based Kubernetes cluster as well as a DevOps pipeline and carry out the practical development of IT solutions.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

You design or review the solution architecture provided by IT vendors for IT projects. You create a technology map that lists all the IT technologies used and define the target IT technologies, including native cloud services. You define the technology lifecycle and implement a cloud-based Kubernetes service. Together with our IT governance, you will be responsible for supporting the creation of a FinOps concept for providing transparency over cloud operations costs and low-code platforms.


Skills and competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Economics / Software Engineering or equivalent qualification. At least 3 years of experience as a developer or system architect, ideally with Java-based development experience. In-depth knowledge of software and integration patterns. Development experience in Java and frameworks as well as SpringBoot, Angular/React. Knowledge in the development and specification of IT interfaces based on common web, connectivity and messaging standards / protocols as well as architectural patterns such as .XML, JSON etc. Experience in implementing and working with cloud service-based Kubernetes clusters (EKS / AKS). Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken. Clear customer orientation, entrepreneurial and analytical thinking. Strong communication skills as well as an obliging and confident appearance.
