The Controlling CKD Body Plant team looks after Mercedes-Benz production plants in India, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Egypt.
In our operational activities, we coordinate financial planning processes, determine key figures to monitor the current cost situation and derive targets for future development. We report directly to the local CEOs and CFOs and advise on possible alternative courses of action.
In addition, our team provides financial support to management on a wide range of strategic issues - ranging from the localization of certain models and make-or-buy decisions for individual components to complete location decisions.
In order to assess the profitability of projects, input assumptions are coordinated with the relevant specialist departments and financial assessments are made taking into account uniform Group standards.
As in almost all areas of the working world, digitalization is increasingly penetrating business processes in controlling. By implementing a TM1 database in conjunction with the Tableau reporting app, data can already be efficiently managed, analysed and visualized in our department. But the work is far from over
We want to continue to develop these tools in the future and adapt them for integration into the Group environment.
In addition to operational activities, the focus of the internship is on the mutual development of skills in the field of data analytics. Under the professional supervision of our employees, you will have the opportunity to contribute your knowledge and skills and help improve the controlling processes.

These are some of the challenges you will face:
Working on projects to optimize the productivity of the CKD production network Preparing financial reports and decision papers for management and assisting with financial planning for the CKD plants Continuous optimization and further development of logistics cost reporting Preparation of profitability calculations for new products Calculating costs and prices for parts and assembly services Maintenance and further development of the TM1 database for the planning and controlling of CKD's foreign plants Maintenance and further development of the PowerBi Dash Board for the visualization of controlling data Qualifikationen Degree in economics, engineering, IT or a comparable course of study Confident written and spoken German and English skills Confident handling of MS Office Commitment Ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of workingAdditional information:
