Meteosat Spacecraft Controller (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

Monitoring a satellite operation in shift operation Application of flight dynamics to maintain the satellite constellation and to
Perform de-orbiting Monitor and support the maintenance of IT systems in satellite operations In the event of anomalies on the ground or in the space segment, take corrective action as required and apply emergency procedures to ensure the safety of the satellite and continuity of service Coordinate daily scheduled and unscheduled operations in the control center and support the consolidation and creation of the mission planning schedule

Your Qualifications

Degree in computer science, telecommunications, physics or aerospace engineering Experience with real-time systems and the execution of procedures in an operational environment Knowledge of flight dynamics, space communications, radio frequency technologies and/or ground segment systems is an advantage Knowledge of script programming Knowledge of relevant tools for satellite control (SCOS, EGS-CC, CCS5, etc.) Ability to work calmly under high pressure Fluency in English,German an advantage
