Our client is a well known, international eVTOL Startup.

LOCATION: Working on-site is required (1-2 days per week homeoffice possible)

DURATION: 6 Months (Extension possible)

Your role and you team:

As an IT Governance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that Lilium’s IT practices align with strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Your primary focus will be on implementing robust IT governance frameworks, policies, and processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compliance, risk management, and operational excellence.

Your day to day:

  • Define IT Objectives:
    • Work closely with senior management to establish clear and measurable IT objectives aligned with the overall organizational strategy.
    • Develop IT vision and mission statements that guide decision-making.
  • Design and Implement IT Governance Framework:
    • Create and maintain an IT governance framework that encompasses principles, policies, roles, and processes.
    • Ensure alignment with broader corporate governance structures.
    • Leverage industry standards (such as ITIL and COBIT) to inform the framework.
  • Policy Development and Compliance:
    • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Assess risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work closely with business units, IT teams, and executive leadership.
    • Communicate IT governance principles and expectations.
    • Foster a culture of accountability and transparency.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Regularly review and enhance IT governance processes.
    • Stay informed about emerging trends and regulatory changes.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO/IEC 38500).
  • Experience with establishing IT governance frameworks is highly appreciated.
  • Professional certifications such as CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT) or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in policy development, risk management, and compliance required.
  • Fluent English language skills.
