System administrator

On this strategic foundation, we are pursuing our plan of organic growth in our Automotive and Sports & Medical divisions.

Simi's Automotive division is currently looking for an experienced System administrator (Windows/Linux) in full-time or part-time.

• Setup and improvement of a heterogeneous Windows and Linux environment
• Installation of Windows clients and IT support for colleagues
• Administration of IT infrastructure (network, storage, server)
• Installation and maintenance of basic IT security (VPN, Firewall, ...)
• Responsibility for backup solution, data base servers, Atlassian software ...
• Supporting IT integration into ZF LifeTec infrastructure
• Responsibility for hardware
• Full-time (40 hours per week) or Part-time (min. 30 hours per week) possible

• Profound knowledge in administration of Windows and Linux environments (Active Directory)
• Good knowledge of network solutions (VPN)
• Experienced in virtualization using Proxmox or similar
• self-organized and diligent way of working, strong communication skills
• interest in related topics like DevOps pipelines, software development is a plus
• fluent English, German B2 appreciated
