For our customer in the aerospace industry, we are looking for motivated candidates for the Donauwörth Germany location as part of temporary employment for the following position:
Experienced Stress Engineer - Airframe & System Development (m/f/d) Ref. 75042
Task profile:
The job holder works as an Experienced Stress Engineer - Airframe & System Development (m/f/d) (part-time also possible). The area of responsibility is divided in detail as follows:
- Design calculations according to manual methodology and with the help of FEM (linear and non-linear)
- Creation and release of proof reports for static strength and fatigue
- Creation of test programs and test orders as well as supervision of the tests Proof of service life, inspection and maintenance intervals
- Structural analyses/strength calculations during the various development phases, from the concept to the detailed design, with the aim of an optimized design in terms of strength, service life, weight and costs
- Support with approval processes, e.g. incorporation of the proof documentation into the approval database (Nectar)
- Processing of construction deviations including the definition of rework and repairs
- Processing of customer service requests
Personal requirements:
- Organized and straightforward way of working
- Pragmatic way of thinking / approach to problems
- Work experience in an international and multicultural environment
Studies:
Engineering at least Master / Diploma course or
Aerospace at least Master / Diploma course or
completed Bachelor's degree with additional subject-specific experience and further training
Professional experience:
- Aerospace at least 3 years
- Several years of practical experience in the field of statics and fatigue in the aerospace sector
- Very good knowledge of the pre-dimensioning and dimensioning of subsystems/components (metal and composite materials)
- Experience in the verification and approval process of CS 27/29
- Mastery of standard manual methods (Niu, Bruhn, HSB, etc.)
- Experience in testing (coupon and component tests)
- Good knowledge of the general structural requirements for aircraft (flight, landing, fatigue loads, bird strike, damage tolerance, etc.)
- Good knowledge of metal and composite materials (i.e. Understanding of the relevant dimensioning methodology, failure modes, the production process and its impact on the mechanical properties)
IT:
- In-depth knowledge of lin. /non lin. FEM methods (Hyperworks, NASTRAN, Optistruct)
- Basic experience with Python or similar
Language skills:
- At least fluent in German
- At least fluent in English
