RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an intern to support our soil monitoring activities at our site in Limburgerhof as soon as possible. As a member of our sustainability team for Agricultural Solutions in Germany, you will primarily support our scientific efforts on the monitoring of agricultural soils.

In your role, you revise and consolidate existing scientific evidence from peer-reviewed journals and German grey literature. Part of your responsibility is sampling and analysis of soil organic carbon concentration and soil bulk density at an ongoing field experiment located in Rhineland-Pfalz and managed by BASF. You use soil data generated from this experiment and apply it to statistical and/or process-based modelling of biogeochemical processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

enrolled master's student in agricultural sciences or a comparable field of study profound knowledge in agricultural research and pedology basic knowledge of statistics programs and Microsoft Excel as well as mathematical models excellent communication skills in English
