At Redcare Pharmacy we are all about health Our e-pharmacy serves 10M+ customers across Europe, and we welcome new users every week. We are growing the existing platform and adding entirely new services to it. Our goal is to enable our customers to live their healthiest lives possible.
As a part of our expansion, we are seeking a Database Administrator, ERP (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the optimization and expansion of our ERP environment.
Your tasks & responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize the performance of our ERP databases to ensure optimal efficiency and minimize risks associated with increased data volume.
- Oversee the administration of databases, identifying and addressing any potential performance and availability issues promptly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP-related database inquiries, providing technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the IT team to strategize and plan for the future migration of our databases to the Azure cloud platform, leveraging your expertise in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Install and configure new database environments from scratch, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
- Create and optimize backup and recovery strategy
- Create and manage user access rights and security policies
Your skills & past experience:
- Experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on ERP systems.
- Expertise in performance analysis and optimization of large-scale databases, particularly in MS SQL Server environments.
- Proven track record of managing complex database environments with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Strong understanding of ERP processes and their impact on database performance.
- Experience with Azure cloud platform is preferred, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
