Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury cars and vans.
The International Taxes department is responsible for tax issues relating to Mercedes-Benz Group AG and its Group companies abroad. Among other things, the division is responsible for the fulfillment of income tax, domestic and foreign tax declaration obligations.
In addition, the International Taxes department oversees transactions of Mercedes-Benz Group AG with a foreign connection.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
Participation in business evaluations and controlling tasks Tracking tax processes of foreign Group companies Process assistance in the area of domestic compliance requirements for Group companies with a foreign connection Assisting with the recording and documentation of tax processes Development of technical issues in domestic and foreign tax law Assisting the specialist employees with tax issues Qualifikationen Degree in business administration (Bachelor/Master) - specialization in tax is an advantage Proficient in written and spoken German and English Confident handling of MS Office Commitment and ability to work in a team Quick comprehension and organizational skills Analytical mindset and strategic way of workingThe working student activity is to be carried out for min. h/week and max. h/week.
