Your tasks

Your profile

Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, physics or a comparable qualification Professional experience as a calculation engineer or simulation engineer, ideally in the maritime sector Strong knowledge in the field of structural mechanics and structural dynamics, in particular numerical crash or shock simulations Good knowledge of materials and production engineering as well as knowledge of rigid body simulation desirable Confident handling of MS-Office, advanced user knowledge of Linux, LS-DYNA, ANSA/META and, if applicable, MATLAB, COMSOL, STAR-CCM+ or Siemens NX Good written and spoken German and English skills Willingness to perform safety checks Analytical, proactive and independent way of working, confident, authoritative manner and very good teamwork and communication skills
