Job Description
Location: Munich, Germany (Hybrid)
Coders Connect is partnering with a market leader in the aviation and drone industry.

You will be responsible to help build and run functional systems which ensure the digital growth and maintenance of the cloud-based environment of the internal tooling landscape, as well as the upcoming software platform around the aircraft. The role will include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet internal as well as external customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Go, Ruby, or Python, we’d like to meet you. You will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately, and securely.

  • Implementing and maintaining cloud-based tools and applications in Azure
  • Deploying updates and fixes
  • Providing Level 2 technical support
  • Building tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Developing software to integrate with internal backend systems
  • Performing root cause analysis for production errors
  • Investigating and resolving technical issues
  • Developing scripts to automate observability
  • Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • On-call duty possible
  • Establishing highly effective and responsive working procedures as well as tools for DevOps and admin teams
  • Consultation and synchronization with IT-Development, Operation, and Infrastructure
  • User Management for selected services/applications
  • Continuous improvement of in-place services
  • Improvement of the monitoring as well as error analysis and live error correction


Requirements
  • Passionate about the DevOps culture, Cloud Native and Trending Technologies
  • Strong problem-solving and automation skills (how to reduce the operational load to a minimum)
  • Experienced in production-grade operations (Product Launches, On-call duty, Backup, Monitoring, Alerting, Incident management, Disaster Recovery, Service Level Objectives, Post-mortem)
  • Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Being open-minded and willing to communicate with multiple parties
  • Team spirit
Technical Skills:
Cloud Infrastructure Management experience with (and/or good understanding of):
  • Micro-services architectures (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • In Cloud Platform Azure
  • Infrastructure and Configuration as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Git, CI/CD YAML pipelines,
  • Networking patterns
  • ELK or other cloud-native observability stacks
  • Windows and/or Linux OS Administration
  • Good knowledge of Scripting languages (i.e. Bash, Powershell, Golang)
