You would like to know how a rotary hammer works and how it is developed together with accessories/tools at Hilti? Then this is the right place for you We are looking for a Master's student (m/f/d) who will drive the product development process from the idea to the prototype with a high degree of initiative and overcome challenges in a structured and methodical manner.

What does the role involve?
Your focus will be on the independent development of a high-performance and application-safe needle adapter (accessory/tool) for rotary hammers, which is used for cleaning or roughening surfaces. In addition of specifying requirements, you will develop a concept that includes the design and layout of mechanical components. You will work closely with experienced colleagues from various departments and coordinate your activities with internal customers. The aim is to build a functional prototype and validate it through tests. In addition, you will present the results of your work in steering committees to ensure an open and clear communication within the project team and to the management.

What you need is:
Enrolled student (m/f/d) in mechanical engineering or related subjects Experience with CAD software and the design of mechanical components & assemblies is an advantage Affinity for practical activities as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills Team-oriented work with good communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment Good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is an advantage
