Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Adviser in Transaction Services (Due Diligence)

 

Transaction Services delivers a wide range of transaction related services to our clients. Our key services include financial diligence in support of deal evaluation and refinancing advice. Our business is at the heart of the Firm's agenda to increase its penetration of boardrooms and work with clients across the economic and transaction cycle. Our engagements are a mix of short and long duration, client-site and office-based work in Luxembourg and overseas.

What you will be working on

As a Senior Adviser, part of a dedicated team, you could advise on financial due diligence projects in the following areas:

  • Buy side acquisitions
  • Sell side disposals
  • Refinancing

The role undertaken by the individual will depend on the type and circumstances of each project and will generally incorporate assistance with project management and team supervision, analysis of complex business and financial topics, review and assessment of junior team members’ workings, drafting of reports and assistance with client / target liaison. The candidate should expect to work on a variety of project-based work over a cross section of industries and geographies but with a focus on Luxembourg marketplace.

 

What we look for
  • Strong interest in M&A work
  • Previous experience (2-4 years) of executing / co-managing Transaction Services engagements (required)
  • Excellent personal impact with sophisticated interpersonal skills –demonstrating confidence to quickly establish credibility with clients
  • Strong academic background
  • Exceptional analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Evidence of working successfully with top management teams
  • Ability to co-lead and operate in high performing teams
  • Ability to perform consistently at a high level under pressure
  • Fluency in English. French and/or German language skills would be considered as an asset
