Accounting Manager (f/m/x)

Permanent Employment, Full-time, Germany Office Munich

Your mission

  • W ork closely with business partners and other departments on projects (e.g. CSRD; Transition managed service provider)
  • Challenge and improve existing processes and controls and implement new processes / controls and guidelines within an European environment
  • Be contact person for auditors  and  tax consultants
  • Support the Accounting team for accuracy and compliance in accounting & tax for our legal entities and more than 20 branches
  • Review the monthly / quarterly Reporting package prepared by the Shared Service Center
  • Support the preparation and review of the different local VAT returns and other tax reportings (e.g. Intrastat, SAFT-Report, etc.) prepared by our Shared Service Center /local tax consultants for IONITY and its branches if needed
  • Support the general coordination & management of the outsourced Shared Service Center and the different local teams of our tax consultant
Your profile

  • Bachelor- / Master degree in business administration with focus on taxes, accounting or auditing or comparable education e.g. certified accountant, tax specialist
  • You gained your professional experience of appr. 3-5 years in the mentioned areas ideally in a tax-/auditing company or in a company with an European environment
  • You have a deep indirect tax knowledge within an European environment
  • understanding of accounting rules and accounting principles according to HGB and IFRS would be preferable
  • understanding of accounting processes in a European accounting environment would be preferable
  • Analytical mind sent, conscientious, independent, and structured way of working
  • Very good Team and communication skills at all levels
  • Very good language skills in German and English, MS Office esp. Excel and ideally SAP/S4 hana skills
