John Deere ISG Quality Department is looking for an

Intern & Master Thesis in the Area of Quality Engineering (m/w/d)

You will play a key role in our digitalization efforts by creating insightful scorecards that will empower the team to make data-driven decisions and achieve our quality goals. Your Responsibilities:

Intern:

Create dashboards to monitor the warranty data and supplier response Create dashboard to track the claims, analysis, status, and response times. Clustering of failure modes and trigger the corrective action process (8D Process). Work on supplier warranty data and create action list.

Master Thesis:

Monitor the metrics from the existing scorecards Measure the gap between the existing metrics and the organizational goals Analyze the potential root cause for the gap Determine and propose solutions & actions to bridge the gap.

What Skills You Need:  

Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other business analytics tools  Studies in the (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) STEM fields Data analysis & interpretation Problem solving & root cause analysis (8D analysis, 3L5Y analysis) High level of attention to detail and accuracy  Ability to work in teams and independent; be reliable & engaged Communication: fluent German and or fluent English
