We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Treasury & Risk Manager (m/f/d). In this role you’ll join one of our portfolio companies and one of the key tasks is creating a holistic risk profile of the company for the Treasury department.
In your day to day work you’ll act as a sparring partner to the executive management, give advice and provide information to assess risks and to find solutions that suit the company and the situation.
Join our portfolio company: A German hardware company focused on designing and manufacturing cutting-edge microchips. The transformative startup offers energy-efficient and high-performance components for multiple industries.
In this role, you’ll:- Be responsible for Supervising cash management in close cooperation with Accounting
- Creating a timeline and priority list for the department
- Crafting forward-thinking financial plans
- Communication and reporting to the banks
- Creating and continuously maintaining StaRUG documentation
- Management of a risk software
- Support of fundraising initiatives
- Creation of a strategic outline for the treasury department with regards to the company statements
- Experience in monitoring situations with limited monthly cash balances
- Several years of experience in treasury or a similar position
- Deep understanding of capital resource optimization and expertise in treasury (risk analysis and scenario modeling)
- Over 5 years of experience in negotiations and ability to interact directly with customers, suppliers, partners, banks and investors
- Proactive and practical approach, with enthusiasm for executing projects, implementing strategies and desire to “do things in a new way”
- Vision of a digital and automated treasury department
- Structured way of working
- Strong communication skills in English and German
- Solid knowledge of relevant laws in Germany and the EU
Please note that we’re looking for support in the Aachen office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
