Die OHB Digital Connect GmbH sucht am Standort Bremen oder Mainz für eine unbefristete Festeinstellung eine:nSystems Engineer Manager (m/f/d)Ihre AufgabenCoordinate all Systems Engineering activities within the project and provide functional leadership and guidance to the involved Systems Engineering team members in their respective areas of responsibilityAnalyze customer, mission, and system requirements and translate them into structured system specifications and functional architecturesDefine and maintain the overall mission and system architecture in close collaboration with subsystem and domain experts.
Develop and implement the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) and coordinate Systems Engineering processes across project teams and disciplinesManage requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle, including allocation and decomposition down to subsystem and equipment levelConduct and coordinate trade-off analyses, concept evaluations, and technical assessments to support key project decisionsDefine verification and validation strategies, support the development of test specifications, and ensure compliance with system requirementsCoordinate technical interfaces between subsystems, project partners, and subcontractors, and assess the impact of requirement or design changesMonitor the technical progress of system development, identify risks, and initiate necessary corrective actionsSupport and lead key system reviews, ensuring successful preparation, execution, and follow-up of review activitiesManage the technical aspects of configuration changes, waivers, deviations, and non-conformance processesSupport project planning by providing technical input regarding system performance, schedule, and cost implicationsIhre QualifikationenDegree (Diploma or Master's) in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical disciplineSeveral years of professional experience in Systems Engineering for satellite ground stations, ideally within a military or defense environmentProven experience in requirements management (Requirements Engineering), system architecture development, and verification planningSolid knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and methodologiesExperience in the preparation and execution of system reviewsAbility to coordinate interdisciplinary technical teams and manage complex technical interfacesStrong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach to workExcellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management capabilities in international project environmentsHigh level of initiative, accountability, and technical leadership skillsFluent German language skills (written and spoken) and very good English language sk
