About MedTech World

Launched in 2020, MedTech World began with a mission to position Malta as a meeting point for the global MedTech and HealthTech ecosystem.

Today, we've grown into an international platform operating across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia, bringing together founders, investors, healthcare systems, clinicians, corporates, policymakers and industry leaders.

Our global calendar spans flagship summits in Malta, Dubai, West Palm Beach and Hong Kong, alongside investor forums, executive gatherings, roadshows, workshops and curated networking experiences throughout the year.

As we continue to expand internationally, we're looking for an ambitious and highly organised Conference Producer to take ownership of the content and programming behind our global events.

This isn't simply about filling an agenda.

The Role

You'll be responsible for identifying the conversations that matter, finding the right people to lead them, and turning those ideas into compelling panels, keynotes, fireside chats and experiences.

Working closely with our CEO and wider leadership team, you'll have direct exposure to some of the most exciting companies, investors, healthcare leaders and innovators shaping the future of healthcare.

Role Description/ What you'll Do.

As Conference Producer, you'll take ownership of the programme from the earliest research stage through to execution on-site.

  • Own the end-to-end conference programme across MedTech World's international events, from initial research and agenda development through speaker confirmation and on-site delivery.
  • Research the latest developments across MedTech, HealthTech, digital health, AI, medical devices, biotechnology, healthcare systems and investment to identify the conversations our audiences need to hear.
  • Develop compelling conference themes, tracks, panel discussions, fireside chats, keynotes and new content formats.
  • Identify and recruit high-calibre speakers including CEOs, founders, investors, clinicians, hospital executives, corporate leaders, academics and policymakers.
  • Lead speaker outreach, invitations and follow-ups, building genuine long-term relationships rather than treating speakers as one-off event participants.
  • Carefully curate panels, ensuring the right balance of expertise, geography, perspectives and personalities on stage.
  • Help with writing strong session titles, descriptions, speaker briefs, moderator notes and agenda copy.
  • Prepare speakers and moderators ahead of each event so conversations are focused, engaging and valuable to the audience.
  • Maintain accurate speaker pipelines, programme schedules, confirmations and deadlines across multiple international events simultaneously.
  • Work closely with our partnerships team to integrate sponsored content while protecting the quality and credibility of the overall programme.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and media teams to identify speakers, sessions and stories that can become interviews, articles, social content and wider campaigns.
  • Work closely with operations and production teams to ensure the programme translates seamlessly from the agenda document to the stage.
  • Be present on-site at our international summits, managing speakers, troubleshooting programme changes and helping ensure every session runs successfully.
  • Where appropriate, moderate panels, conduct interviews or host conversations yourself.
  • Analyse feedback and programme performance after each event and continuously improve our content strategy.
  • Develop new ideas for Investor Forums, CEO gatherings, workshops, roundtables, retreats and other executive formats beyond the traditional conference stage.
  • Build and maintain a strong international network of potential speakers and contributors across the healthcare innovation ecosystem.

Location:

Remote. Open to candidates across Europe, provided they are eligible to work in their country of residence. Relocation to our Malta HQ is also welcomed and supported.

What We're Looking For?

We're looking for someone who combines curiosity, commercial awareness, editorial judgement and exceptional organisation. You should be comfortable spending the morning researching an emerging healthcare technology, the afternoon speaking with a global CEO or investor, and still making sure dozens of speaker confirmations and programme deadlines are moving forward.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in conference production, agenda development, content production, journalism, resea
