💼 About the Role

As a Forward-Deployed Engineer German Speaker focused on Solution Building, you are the hands-on expert and rapid implementer for our most strategic customer engagements. You will embed directly with enterprise clients, transforming their complex requirements into working, high-performance agentic automation solutions on the Otera platform. You thrive on quickly understanding needs, designing efficient solutions, and getting your hands dirty with the code. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background combined with consulting experience.

🔥 Key Responsibilities

• Rapid Development: Design, develop, and deploy bespoke agentic workflows, custom integrations, and platform extensions for strategic enterprise customers using Python and other relevant technologies.
• Technical Implementation: Take ownership of the technical implementation details, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and align with the architectural guidelines provided by FDE Architects.
• Problem Solving: Dive deep into customer data, systems, and processes to identify automation opportunities and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customer development teams, business users, and internal Business Leads to gather requirements, provide technical demos, and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Best Practices: Contribute to and evangelize best practices for development, testing, and deployment of agentic solutions on the Otera platform.
• Product Input: Provide direct feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on real-world customer implementation experiences, helping to shape future features and capabilities.
• Proof-of-Concepts: Quickly develop impactful proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the power of Otera's platform to prospective clients.

😊 About You

• An Expert Engineer: 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and / or Python and familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• German Speaker: Professional fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate confidently with German-speaking customers and stakeholders.
