Full Professor in Nephrology

As a rule, the person appointed to this professorship will not be employed as a civil servant (Beamte) under German law. The duties related to patient care as Head of the Department of Nephrology, Rheumatology, and Geriatrics at the TUM University Hospital, including the right to bill for additional medical services, will be regulated separately through a head physician contract with the university hospital's board of management. A German medical license (Approbation) in human medicine and a German board certification in internal medicine and nephrology are prerequisites for the head physician contract.
