As our Domain Architect – IoT & OT Integration, you’ll play a key role in Danfoss Climate Solutions’ digital transformation, shaping a unified sensor-to-cloud ecosystem across our product portfolio. You’ll help break down data silos and establish common communication standards and data semantics, creating the foundation for smarter, connected climate solutions. Working across R&D, product teams and business units, you’ll combine architectural ownership with a hands-on mindset, helping us turn emerging technologies into practical solutions that support advanced analytics, AI and greater energy efficiency. What You’ll Be Doing Define and drive the IoT/OT domain architecture and roadmap for unified sensor-to-cloud communication across Danfoss Climate Solutions Establish common communication protocols and integration standards across product lines, including MQTT, RS485, Modbus TCP, BACnet and Sparkplug Design data ontologies and semantic models to enable interoperability and consistent data usage across the organization Develop and validate Proof of Concepts and Lighthouse projects, translating architectural concepts into scalable solutions Collaborate with R&D, product management, IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment, security and successful adoption Evaluate emerging IoT/OT technologies and industry standards, contributing to architectural decisions and future platform evolution What We're Looking For Strong experience in IoT/OT architecture and in designing device-to-cloud solutions within industrial, building automation or similar environments Solid hands-on knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as MQTT, RS485, Modbus TCP and BACnet; experience with Sparkplug is a plus Experience with data ontologies and semantic modelling frameworks such as Google Digital Buildings, Project Haystack, Brick Schema or similar A hands-on technical mindset, with the ability to develop PoCs, configure systems and troubleshoot integration challenges Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across complex, international organizations Experience with edge computing, cloud IoT platforms or HVAC/refrigeration systems is considered an advantage What You'll Get From Us We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
