We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Associate HW Engineer to ensure the reliability, integrity, and world-class performance of these core radar systems. Your expertise will be critical to the safety and functionality of our advanced vehicle platforms.

What You'll Do
Hardware Integration: Assembly and modifications of high resolution radar systems Hardware Analysis: Disassembly and analysis of high resolution radar systems after environmental testing and root cause analysis of occurred failure modes Fixture Design: Design and integration of fixtures for production purposes considering pneumatic features Fabrication of Mechanical Components: Manufacturing of prototype components by using various technologies such as CNC milling and 3D printing Metrology: Execution of first article inspections and assessment of the components dimensional accuracy by using optical measurement systems such as a 3D profilometer Technical Documentation: Creating technical documents and reports in english language

Requirements:
Completed degree in mechatronics or comparable qualification Advanced ability to read and interpret technical drawings including GD&T Working knowledge in technical documentation Basic knowledge of CAM Excellent communication skills in both English and German Basic understanding of injection moulding and die-casting production processes Proficient in a CAD system (Siemens NX, Autodesk Inventor) Availability for an 80% on-site presence This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location on a minimum of 3 days per week.
