Role Description This full-time Python Developer role is a hybrid position based in Berlin, Germany, with the option to work from home part of the time. In this role, the Python Developer will design, implement, and maintain back-end services and APIs, contributing to scalable and secure software solutions for government and enterprise clients. The position involves writing clean, testable code, integrating databases, optimizing application performance, and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Python Developer will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support the continuous improvement of development practices and tools. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, with professional experience using Python in production environments.
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including version control (e.g., Git), testing practices, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Candidates should possess Databases skills, including experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Experience working in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate in multilingual, distributed teams are important.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
