Within this six-year program, candidates will develop and lead an innovative line in research aligned with the translational focus of the InnoSyn.2 ACS Program and the core research areas of the Medical Faculty. The program fosters the development of outstanding physicians (M.
D.) as independent translational researchers and includes a 50 % release from clinical responsibilities. Scholarship holders receive € 135.000 per year to cover 50 % of their position as well as project-related research costs. The program offers structured career support aimed at leadership positions, strong integration into a translational research environment, access to clinical and research infrastructure within a high-level academic milieu, and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and international research networking.
