At our modern logistics hub in Heerlen, you will maintain, repair, and optimize our conveyor and material handling systems – ensuring the dependable dispatch of medications and healthcare products. Your Responsibilities – Full of Technical Variety
• Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems as well as mechatronic and electro-pneumatic equipment
• Professionally install mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
• Detect technical faults early and resolve them independently
• Collaborate with external contractors on new installations and upgrades
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement
• Read technical drawings and wiring diagrams as easily as the daily weather report What You Bring to the Role
• Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician (m/f/d), or equivalent qualification
• Professional experience, ideally in maintenance within a logistics or automated warehouse environment
• Comfortable working at heights (no fear of climbing / working on elevated conveyor platforms)
• Working knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens S7 / TIA Portal) is an asset
• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and a structured way of working
• Good German and English skills – Dutch is a plus
• Flexibility and willingness to work in a 2-shift model (early and late shifts) as well as occasional weekend shifts (maximum twice a month, Saturday or Sunday) What You Can Expect at DocMorris
